Retro Review : Castlevania:Symphony of the night

You new it was bound to come after the top 10 list of my favourite games. This is the best Castlevania to date and is this weeks Retro Review.

Castlevania:Symphony of the night starts with what maybe the end of the Castlevania 5 but I never played it so I don't know. The main story is the son of Dracula, Alucard has returned to Dracula's castle to defeat him once and for all and while in the castle he run to a woman named Maria who is searching for Richter(who you play in the first part of the game). Game is a 2D dungeon crawler with a level up systems and a large array of weapons. If you ever played a Metroid game, Castelvania is the same kind of game, you start with nothing and work your way to full power. The best thing about this game is that it's an addictive game.

Castlevania:SOTN is a great game and you can play it on XBLA or on a copy of Castlevania:Dracula X Chronicles so if you haven't played it before these methods can get you that opportunity to play it, and trust me it's worth it.
