Review : Halo Reach

Halo Reach is considered the most anticipated game of 2010 and it's now been released. I didn't sleep so I could pick it up first thing in the morning yesterday and I stayed up late playing the multiplayer and I'm playing right now as I type this. Halo Reach is the best Halo made and it'll be tough to top it and I know by now every man, his dog, his dogs fleas and the bacteria living on those fleas is playing it now but I'm still reviewing it. Here's my review of Halo Reach.

If you've played any other Halo game, it's more of the same... mostly. The story of the game revolves around a losing battle for the planet Reach and you and the rest of Nobel Team have to try and stop the Covenant from taking Reach. If you didn't already know Reach fell then you haven't been paying attention to the franchise very well. During the story mode there are a couple of flight missions and I really like the space one the best. The game features new controls, new weapons, new vehicles, the ability to customize almost every bit of your Spartan and all new multiplayer modes. The campaign can be cleared in 8 hours and as usual multiplayer is the main focus. If you've played the beta then you already know what's added but for those who don't they've added a new mode call Invasion which is Spartans Vs Elites in Slayer or a new take on capture the flag. There is also a new mode called Headhunter which you get skulls from people who died and drop them off at a specific spot and a new capture the flag where there are lots of flags and whoever gets the most wins. All the modes from Halo 3 return so anyone who's played that knows these modes well. Forge makes a return with even more in it to work with and 16 players can work on a map. It's hard to do a big review on this game.

Maybe I'm just lazy when it comes to FPS reviews since they're all the same for the most part. Halo Reach is the best shooter other then Call Of Duty and at least this is fun more then competitive. I give it a 5/5 because it's fun, works well and will keep you playing it for a long time. Also this is a pointless review since everyone likes Halo period!

Score 5/5
